Arnav Kapur is the Deputy Director – Policy, Communications & Philanthropic Partnerships at Gates Foundation. He has been with the Gates Foundation since 2013 and has held a range of roles spanning policy, poverty alleviation, strategy and philanthropic partnerships. Previously, as Global Lead and India & South Asia Lead for Philanthropic Partnerships, he focused on building collaborations with philanthropists, family offices and corporates to mobilise resources and drive impact at scale. Earlier in his Gates Foundation career, he worked on India's policy and poverty alleviation portfolio, including agriculture strategy and large-scale primary healthcare transformation. Before joining the foundation, Arnav was a Consultant with Deloitte Consulting, advising organisations on strategy, supply-chain management, financial planning and e-governance. He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi, where he graduated among the top 10% of his class, and has also studied at EM Strasbourg Business School in France. He completed his undergraduate education in Computer Science Engineering and holds professional credentials including APICS' Certified Supply Chain Professional certification, as well as Executive Education from Harvard Business School.
