Athira is Vice President of Public Policy at Porter, where she oversees the company’s engagement with policymakers and government bodies. Her work focuses on shaping a regulatory and policy environment that supports efficient, sustainable, and inclusive mobility solutions. Before Porter, Athira led public policy efforts at Uber, covering South India and Sri Lanka, and managed earner welfare initiatives across India–South Asia. Her policy experience includes work in mobility, urban governance, gender, and education. She has also contributed to initiatives at the Kerala State Women's Development Corporation, B.PAC, and Make-a-Difference, supporting women’s empowerment and inclusive societal development. Beyond her professional roles, Athira is involved in building communities that emphasize safe online spaces and support women’s financial independence.
