Chetan Kapoor is the Chief Executive Officer of Tech Mahindra Foundation (TMF) and a development-sector professional with more than two decades of experience across education and skill development. He joined TMF as a consultant in 2012 and became its Chief Operating Officer in 2016 before taking on the role of CEO. He conceptualised TMF’s flagship SMART programme, which has grown into one of India’s largest CSR-led urban skill-development initiatives.

Before joining TMF, Chetan founded consulting firm Edulever and co-founded Agrasar, an organisation working in skills, social security and education. His earlier career includes leadership roles with the American India Foundation, Bharti Foundation, and Pratham, where he worked extensively on education and technology-led programmes. He holds an MBA in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) and began his professional career with Apollo Tyres. His work today focuses on education, employability, skilling, disability inclusion, and creating pathways to sustainable livelihoods.
