
Mr. Dhananjay Ramakrishnappa is a technology leader, engineer, inventor, and social entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in the technology industry and more than fifteen years of experience in the social sector. He has held leadership roles in engineering, program management, product operations, and innovation across global technology companies and is credited as an inventor on multiple U.S. patents.
Mr. Ramakrishnappa is the founder of the Joining the Dots Foundation (JTD), a non-profit organization working in the areas of education, sports, health, arts, and environmental sustainability. Through JTD, he has led initiatives focused on expanding opportunities for underserved communities and developing scalable models for social impact.
His current areas of focus include a statewide initiative to ensure that every person with a disability in Andhra Pradesh has access to an appropriate prosthetic or assistive device by 2030. Along with his fellow JTD co-founder, Pranamya Nagaprasad, he is also leading the development of a state-of-the-art model school for children with disabilities, envisioned as a centre of excellence that can serve as a replicable model for adoption by state governments across India.
Mr. Ramakrishnappa has also developed a social investment model that aims to provide $50,000–$100,000 in funding to talented athletes from economically disadvantaged families, enabling them to pursue elite sporting careers without being forced to leave the sport due to financial constraints.
Mr. Ramakrishnappa holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) at Karnataka State Law University. His work reflects his commitment to applying technology, innovation, and public policy to address complex societal challenges.
