Giorgia Varisco is Chief of YuWaah (Generation Unlimited in India) at UNICEF, where she leads a public-private youth partnership platform advancing skilling, employability, and youth leadership. She has over two decades of international development experience, specializing in adolescent and youth development, education, private sector engagement, and social impact.

Before joining UNICEF India, Giorgia served as Chief of Adolescents and Youth Development at UNICEF Lebanon and UNICEF Jordan, where she drove large-scale programmes on education pathways, youth transitions, and civic engagement. Earlier, she held senior partnership roles at UNICEF UK and worked with UNDP, UNAIDS, and the OSCE on governance, gender equality, and youth empowerment.

She holds a Master’s in Peace and Development Studies and a Bachelor’s in International Security and Conflict Resolution from San Diego State University, USA.
