
Khushboo Awasthi is the Co-founder of ShikshaLokam, a nonprofit working to co-create leadership missions and open-source digital infrastructure with the government and civil society, towards catalysing a national narrative on education leadership. Khushboo is also the Co-founder of Mantra4Change, a non-profit driving systemic public schools transformation in the Indian education system across more than 275,000 government schools. She plays an influential role in shaping the national education policy, serving on several key committees constituted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
As Chief Curator of Shikshagraha, Khushboo is weaving Shikshagraha - a people’s movement for education equity. The movement seeks to improve 1 million public schools in India by bringing together diverse stakeholders —communities, government, civil society, markets and media. A believer in systems and platform thinking, Khushboo is passionate about fostering stakeholder agency, enabling networks, catalysing large-scale social movements and exploring the role of technology in facilitating co-creation and collective action. She is a recipient of the Women Transforming India Awards 2021 instituted by NITI Aayog, is a Schwab Social Innovator and an Ashoka Fellow.
