Smt. Manmeet Kaur Nanda, IAS, is a senior civil servant of the Government of India serving as Additional Secretary in the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment.

An IAS officer of the 2000 West Bengal cadre, she has held senior responsibilities in public administration and policy. In April 2025, the Government of India appointed her as Additional Secretary in DEPwD, with effect from April 22, 2025. 

In her present role, she is involved in advancing government policy and programmes aimed at strengthening the rights, empowerment, accessibility and inclusion of persons with disabilities. Her work is particularly relevant to the intersection of public policy, disability inclusion, accessible employment and social empowerment.
