Meenakshi Ramesh is the Chief Executive Officer of Pratham Education Foundation, bringing over two decades of experience in the social sector. She began her development sector journey with Pratham Mumbai in 2001, working closely with the organisation’s founders during its formative years until 2009. She previously served as CEO of United Way Chennai, directing corporate funds towards education, healthcare, and livelihoods initiatives.

An alumna of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, Meenakshi also served on the boards of organisations working in education and health, providing strategic guidance to advance sustainable social impact.
