
Nakul Jain is the Co-Founder and CEO of APLYD and a Partner at Athena Infonomics, and he previously served as Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of Wadhwani AI Global. Earlier in his career he worked at GE Healthcare, Accenture, and Cognizant.
In more than fifteen years he has built 40-plus AI and digital products that reach over 200 million people across more than 20 countries. He led an AI unit inside India's Ministry of Health through the COVID pandemic, worked across the ministries of agriculture, education, and women & child development, and delivered the national tuberculosis platform that moved $80M in direct benefits to patients.
He builds the institutions that carry population-scale AI to governments across six countries in Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. His research appears at AAAI and in peer-reviewed journals, and he has keynoted and joined panels at the World Economic Forum, UN Digital Cooperation Day, GITEX Africa, the IndiaAI Summit, and the East African Community's science and technology conference.
He holds an MBA from NMIMS Mumbai and a degree in electronics and communication engineering from GGSIPU.
