Nishant Pandey is the Chief Executive Officer of the American India Foundation (AIF), providing strategic leadership to the organization's operations globally. An economist by training, anthropologist by inclination and entrepreneur at heart, Nishant has built a career in international development and social impact.

He began his career in banking before moving into the development sector with Oxfam, where he worked on multi-state and multi-stakeholder programmes in South India and subsequently led programme development and management across 12 countries from Oxfam's global headquarters in Oxford. Prior to joining AIF's leadership, he served as Oxfam's Country Director for the Occupied Palestinian Territory & Israel. 

At AIF, Nishant works on advancing programmes that address inequities in education, livelihoods, public health and inclusion, while strengthening partnerships between government, civil society and the private sector.
