
Parvathy Krishnan Krishnakumari is a Digital and Artificial Intelligence Specialist with the World Bank, based in New Delhi. She has over a decade of experience building and scaling responsible AI systems across health, agriculture and governance in low- and middle-income countries, with a focus on moving high-impact use cases from proof of concept into policy-aligned programs that public institutions can operate at scale. She previously served as Chief Technology Officer at Analytics for a Better World in the Netherlands and has led artificial intelligence initiatives at the United Nations Development Programme, with earlier research at the National University of Singapore, IIT Kanpur and the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. She holds a Professional Doctorate in Data Science from Eindhoven University in the Netherlands.
