Shri Praveer Kumar is Joint Secretary, National Urban Digital Mission (NUDM), in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India. A 1999-batch officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS), he assumed charge as Joint Secretary in MoHUA in February 2025 for a five-year tenure.

In this role he steers the Ministry's urban digital agenda, including efforts to build shared digital public infrastructure and data capabilities for India's cities and urban local bodies. 

He additionally holds charge as Managing Director of HSCC (India) Limited.
