Sh. Premananda Prusty, an Economist by profession, started his career in the Programme Evaluation Organisation, Planning Commission as an Economic Officer. He then shifted to the Planning & Statistical Cadre of Govt. of NCT of Delhi. There he worked in various capacities such as Dy. Commissioner (Industries), Joint Secretary (Health & Family Welfare), Director (Personnel) in Municipal Corporation of Delhi and Director Urban Development Department Govt. of NCT of Delhi Presently working as Director Directorate of Economics & Statistics and as Chief Registrar (Births & Deaths) for NCT of Delhi.
