Shagun Sabarwal is the incoming Vice President, Programs and currently Regional Director, Asia at Co-Impact. She currently leads the foundation’s program strategy and grantmaking across the region. A social policy and development leader, she has extensive experience advancing gender equality, supporting women’s leadership, and promoting the use of evidence in policymaking.

Before joining Co-Impact, Shagun was South Asia and Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Director at WomenLift Health. She also served as Director of Policy, Training, and Communications at J-PAL South Asia, where she advised governments on scaling evidence-based programs in health, agriculture, climate action, and gender.

Shagun has co-authored research on immunization, child well-being, and poverty reduction and has advised governments in Bihar, Punjab, and Odisha. She holds a Doctorate in Public Health from Harvard University and has been recognized with several fellowships and awards.
