Shalini Kapoor, Chief Strategist, Data & AI at EkStep Foundation, is an innovator and technology strategist with over 30 years of experience applying data and AI to citizen scale applications. Shalini focuses on mechanisms that ease frictions for population-scale AI adoption in India - driven by the belief that transformation must be people-centric, use case driven, and with technology following society's needs. Previously, as President, AWS Public Sector India, she led Cloud initiatives and go-to-market strategies. At IBM Shalini led Watson IoT and AI Applications Labs, and was the first IBM Fellow from India. She is author of the book "Al for You - The New Game Changer".
