Shweta Banerjee currently leads BRAC International's work in India overseeing program quality, government, multilateral, and CSO engagement, and country office operations. Before joining BRAC, she worked on rural livelihoods, digital inclusion, and social protection at the World Bank. She is currently finishing her PhD on monetary history of India from 1750 to 1935.
