
Soumya Jain is the Founder and CEO of iTeach Schools, a nonprofit organisation that operates free, high-quality schools through a public-private partnership model, serving students from disadvantaged households in Pune and Navi Mumbai. iTeach currently serves nearly 10,000 students and alumni through a team of over 500 staff members, alongside its college-to-career programme. Soumya is also a co-founder of the iTeach Fellowship, which is now closed.
Prior to founding iTeach Schools, Soumya spent two years teaching in a low-income school as part of the Teach For India Fellowship and four years designing embedded software at Lutron Electronics in the United States. He serves on the Advisory Boards of Teach For India, The Circle and Ashraya Initiative for Children, and on the Board of Studies at MIT World Peace University.
