Sreya Mozumdar is the Director – National Partnerships at The/Nudge Institute, where she works at the intersection of government, policy, and social impact to advance solutions for some of India’s most excluded communities. She is a development professional with over 15 years of experience in the social sector, with expertise spanning gender equity, sustainable rural livelihoods, urban poverty alleviation, disaster risk reduction, youth development, and economic inclusion.

Prior to joining The/Nudge Institute, Sreya served as Executive Director at the All India Artisans and Craftworkers Welfare Association (AIACA), where she worked on strengthening market-led opportunities and livelihoods for artisans and craft communities. She has also held leadership and programme roles across organisations working in development and social impact. Her work has involved building programmes and partnerships across diverse stakeholders, with a particular focus on creating sustainable livelihoods and improving opportunities for vulnerable communities.

At The/Nudge, Sreya has played a key role in developing government partnerships and economic inclusion programmes, including work with central and state governments to strengthen pathways out of extreme poverty. Her work has involved policy and strategy, programme design, research and evidence, ecosystem convening, and supporting the institutionalisation and scaling of proven approaches through government systems. She holds a background in Social Work from Jadavpur University and the University of Delhi and is also an advisory council member for creative future programmes at the British Council, India.
