Shri Srinivas Katikithala is the Secretary, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Government of India, and a senior civil servant with over three decades of experience in public administration, policy and institutional development. Over the course of his career, he has held several senior leadership positions across the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat, including serving as Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs; Director of the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration; Principal Secretary, Revenue Department, Government of Gujarat; and Managing Director of the Gujarat Urban Development Company. His experience spans public policy, urban and infrastructure development, administrative and legislative reform, and the management of large-scale development initiatives. He brings a deep understanding of government systems and a track record of driving complex reforms and institutional change.
