Vinkesh Gulati is the Chairperson of the Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) and Director of United Automobiles, with extensive experience in the automotive and dealership sector. He previously served as President of the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) from 2020 to 2022. As Chairperson of ASDC, he works closely with industry, government and skills ecosystem partners to strengthen India's automotive workforce and prepare it for emerging technologies and changing mobility needs.

Mr. Gulati's work focuses on industry-led skilling, workforce readiness and the evolving skill requirements arising from electric mobility, digitalisation and the green transition. He has advocated for greater investment in upskilling technicians and frontline workers, as well as stronger pathways through apprenticeships and industry-aligned training. His leadership at ASDC comes at a time when the organisation is expanding its focus on future-ready automotive skills, having trained over 5 lakh learners in FY2026.
