Vinod Raghuwanshi is the CTO and Co-Founder of Leap 300. Vinod grew up in a small village in Madhya Pradesh, where his family still manages their farm. After graduating from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, he worked in global finance, building enterprise systems at Infosys, Morgan Stanley, and J.P. Morgan in London.

In 2023, Vinod decided to shift his focus and co-founded Leap 300, an initiative dedicated to ending extreme poverty within a generation. He moved to India with his family to help build the organization from the ground up. After almost 18 months of testing and iteration, Leap 300 is now scaling in partnership with the governments of UP, Bihar, and Punjab, bringing technology and AI-enabled support to rural micro-entrepreneurs at scale.

“I don’t ask whether rural communities can use technology and AI,” he says. “I ask, how can we make this technology work for them by putting them at the heart of its design?”
